Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

The perfect combo of spice, crunch, and health. I’ve seen so many recipes for these things, so after scavenging the internet I decided to make my own gluten free, and vegan friendly version! They turned out way better than I had imagined…I had to put them away so that I could save them for leftovers. Enjoy.


Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 2x 15 minutes

Oven Temp: 450°F



  • 1/2 Cauliflower head
  • 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Agave
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper



  • Cut your cauliflower into florets or nice bite sized pieces, disposing of the stalk component.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add flour, water, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Combine until no clumps are left (it will look really runny – don’t worry).
  • Add your cauliflower to the bowl and coat until all pieces seem moist.
  • *This adds a layer of crispiness to the cauliflower
  • Spread the florets out onto a greased baking sheet or a stone.
  • Bake the cauliflower in the oven for 15 minutes, the pieces should become slightly browned and should not look wet anymore.
  • While the cauliflower is baking, heat the coconut oil, buffalo sauce, and agave in a pan.
  • Remove the cauliflower from the oven, and coat all sides of the florets with the buffalo mixture.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
  • Turn on the broiler for extra crispiness at the end.
  • Remove from oven, let cool…and enjoy 🙂

    I have been wanting to make these for awhile, but thought it would take to long or be too involved. These were actually so easy to make and so so good!! This is such a good recipe!
